ABOUT THE SHOW:
Our clueless, but well-meaning, scientists - Drs. Percy Hinks and Adelaide Hibble – try to discover a formula that reveals the mysterious love code. Adding to the drama, they really need a grant to keep the Hibble Hinks Lab up and running. With a team of interns who reluctantly must act out various relationship scenarios to collect data, Hibble and Hinks want to prove they are legitimate researchers and not what their colleagues refer to as loony “mad scientists”. What happens along the way is all the fun!
With hilarious, original, memorable songs and scenes that cover everything from fairytales to the four seasons of love, you’re going to want to put on your goggles and join the experiment as you bumble your way to relationship enlightenment!
CHARACTERS:
DR. PERCY HINKS - tries to be an optimist but lacks confidence, is emotional, lovably goofy, fast food junkie, a bit oblivious., wants to know love code so no one gets their heart broken anymore.
DR. ADELAIDE HIBBLE - cautious pessimist, neat freak, lovable curmudgeon, lactose intolerant, wants to win the Nobel Prize with her love code
INTERN BECKY COOPER - bona fide romantic, optimistic, eager.
INTERN GINA GREEN - bored, sexy, confident.
INTERN LAURA LIVINGSTON - practical, compulsive, stressed.
INTERN ALVIN NERNY - comical, a bit clumsy, secretly the grant approver.
INTERN DEREK CHAPMAN - happy-go-lucky, easily infatuated.
INTERN LEO BUCATINSKY - a know-it-all but actually insecure, doesn't get all the romantic hoopla.
